One Day Creative Writing Workshop

About the Course:

Have you got a novel in you? How about a collection of poems or short stories? A screenplay? Do you have flashes of inspiration, notepads full of ideas but just can’t seem to find the formula to turn them into the works you know they could be? This one-day course is ideal if you need help in getting started on a writing project or just want to explore the literate side of your creative self.

A day full of creative writing experiments, story structure exercises and analysis and practical writing guidance designed to give you the techniques to unlock your creativity and create good writing habits.

The 1 day course is run by Colum Sanson-Regan, a novelist, short story and script writer.

What to Bring:

Notebook, Pen and any ideas you might want to explore.

About the Tutor:

I'm a writer and teacher of creative and professional writing and published author I am currently teaching at USW at the moment as an HPL, on the English and Creative Writing Degree, my modules are Writing for Media and Story:Fiction and Non-Fiction. I am interested in students finding their authentic voice, and giving support and guidance for working on full length projects, but also the art of the short story.

Minimum Age: Please note that you must be aged 16 or over to enrol on this course.
