About the Course:

Flower photography is one of the most interesting of all subject areas, full of colour and interest.

 

The course will demonstrate how to create wonderful photographs of flowers using a variety of camera settings and features.

  • Use different camera settings and features.
  • Outline simple “props” to enhance your flower photography.
  • Hints and tips on how to get the best from your flower photography.
  • Practical exercises.

 

The course format is a mix of theory and practical tasks. The course is suitable for all levels from a beginner to experienced photographers.

 

What do I need to bring to the course?

Camera, Blank Memory card, a fully charged camera battery. Note pad, pen, Camera Handbook or Manual. The course is suitable for all types of Digital cameras but not Camera phones / iPads / tablets.

 

About the Tutor

Glyn Evans is a freelance photographer based in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. His work covers a wide range of subjects including press and local newspaper assignments, commercial projects, agricultural events, country shows, tourism, and contributions to Welsh photo libraries. He also specialises in capturing Welsh landscapes, seascapes, and heritage. In addition to his photography, Glyn teaches both Photography and Photoshop for community education workshops with local councils, helping learners of all levels develop their creative and technical skills.
