Learn simple macramé knots and create a stylish dream catcher using natural driftwood and decorative beads.

Get crafty together at our fun-filled family workshop! Designed for children aged 9–13 years and their grown-up, this hands-on session is a great opportunity to get creative, learn new skills, and make something special to take home. Enjoy quality time together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of creativity, laughter, and family fun.

Cost: £9 per child, £3 per parent/carer
Age guidance: 9–13 years.

Places are limited to 8 children, so early booking is recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Tutor

I am a qualified primary teacher of 30 years. My teaching degree followed the pathway of visual art. Throughout my teaching career I have been the 'art and creative coordinator'.

I have always had a love of shape, texture and colour. Wherever possible I have included natural resources in my work.

My love of crafting started at an early age with mum and grandparents sewing, knitting and always 'doing something'.

I craft for my own pleasure and to share my creations when I gift them to someone special.
